MediaTek has introduced its new chipset. The company has unveiled the Dimensity 8050. New chipsets like Dimensity 1300 and Dimensity 1200 chipsets have been brought with a new name.

MediaTek’s new chipset has been brought with up to 16GB LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 3.1 internal storage.
The chipset offers a maximum display resolution of 2520×1080 pixels, while a maximum refresh rate of 168Hz is available. MediaTek’s MiraVision technology also enables HDR video playback, hardware-accelerated AV1 encoding, and AI picture upscaling.

The company has introduced the new chipset with support for images up to 200 megapixels and videos up to 3840 x 2160 resolution. The new chipset has also been brought with 32MP+16MP front camera support.
